The ore carrier has deadweight of 250,460 DWT and gross tonnage of 135,933 GRT, designed with improved cargo capacity and optimized for the three major loading ports of iron ore in Western Australia. The ship Cape Hayatomo has overall length of 329.95 m, moulded beam of 57.00 m and depth of 25.60 m.
