Odyssey of the SeasOdyssey of the Seas is a Quantum Ultra-class cruise ship and the last of the class operated by Royal Caribbean International. She is one of the newest ships in the company’s fleet offering top-class service and comfort for the passengers. Odyssey of the Seas was built by Meyer Werft in their shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The vessel was completed on November 28, 2020, and christened on November 13, 2021. The cruise ship has an IMO number 9795737 and MMSI 311000912.

Odyssey of the Seas has an overall length of 347.08 m, moulded beam of 49.39 m, and a maximum draft of 8.73 m. The ship has a gross tonnage of 167,704 GT and the capacity to carry 4,198 passengers on double occupancy, or 5,510 passengers on maximum occupancy, as well as 1,663 crew members. The cruise vessel has total 14 passenger decks out of 16 decks in total, featuring 15 restaurants, 2 pools, and 2,105 cabins. Odyssey of the Seas is designed to improve the cruise experience for the guests, offering Wave Loch Flowrider surf simulator, a rock-climbing wall, a skydiving simulator, an observation pod, a Spa and Fitness Center, a theater and many more attractions.

Odyssey of the Seas is powered by six main engines, including two Wartsila 12V46F, two Wartsila 16V46F, and two Cat 3516C HD. Propulsion power is provided by two ABB Azipod XO thrusters and four Brunvoll FU115 bow thrusters. With 67,200kW of total engine power and 41MW of propulsion power, the vessel can attain a speed of 22 knots.
